CORONAVIRUS ALERT:

If you have traveled to CHINA, IRAQ, JAPAN, SOUTH KOREA OR ITALY in the last 14 days OR in close contact with someone who has OR is suspected of having the Covid19 Coronavirus AND if you have FEVER, COUGH and SHORTNESS OF BREATH, DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING.

****What's happening in the facility related to

 COVID 19 PANDEMIC.

Increase Activities, NO Commercial Dining or Activity, Practicing Social Distancing, Facetime, Call your Nurse Directly, Magnolia - Willow Neighborhood 337-254-0164, Oak Neighborhood 337-257-0699 & Pine - Evergreen Neighborhood 337-257-3867. Everyone is still getting Doctor's care they need.




**Meal of the Month: May 13th @ 11am: crawfish etouffee, rice, potato salad, corn style corn, garlic bread, 3 flavor ice cream & soda

***Reminder: When you request any type of beauty salon services please make sure your loved one have funds in their account.  No Services will be performed unless the correct funds are in their Account. Shampoo and Set - $15, Hair Cut - $13, Perm - $35 plus hair cut - $48, Color - $35 plus hair cut - $48. Thank you for Understanding!!!!!

***River Oaks will hold their next Homemade BBQ Hamburger Sale June - 2020 from 10am to 12:30pm. The meal consist of a burger, chips and a soda for a donation of $6.00. Any questions please call Priscilla or Kiera. Thank you for your generous support!!!!!

ATTENTION ALL VISITORS: WE ASKED THAT YOU DO NOT GIVE ANY RESIDENT CIGARETTES OR CIGARETTE LIGHTERS DUE TO THE SAFETY OF OUR RESIDENT'S.

***REGARDING SIGNING RESIDENTS OUT ON PASS:

Families it is extremely important that you go to loved ones nurse to sign them out on pass, once you returned back to the facility again please go back to the nurse to sign them back into the facility.

******Attention Families: We continue to accept nominations for Employee of the Month. If you have a staff that you would like to nominate. We encourage you to voice your opinion in writing on why you would nominate that person. We valued all inputs that you may have regarding that person. All comments will be viewed and finalized by the Administrator. 

 
Resident Birthday Party is celebrated the 1st Tuesday of every month @ 2pm. Music provided by w/ Gail & friends Karaoke. Please inform the Activity Department if you would like to donate a birthday cake for your loved one party. Thanks!!

**NEWSPAPERS are for RESIDENTS ONLY. 

They are not to be taken out of the facility by any Family Member, Friends or Staff.

**Laundry:  WHEN FAMILIES WASH RESIDENT'S LAUNDRY, THE FACILITY WILL NO LONGER BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST ITEMS. We continue to remind everyone to always bring all items to Mrs. Cleotha Lee, Laundry Supervisor to be labeled and documented on the inventory form BEFORE placing them in your loved ones room to prevent any lost items or clothes. THE FACILITY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST OR MISSING CLOTHES THAT HAS NOT BEED LABELED OR DOCUMENTED ON THE INVENTORY FORM.  We continue to have unidentified clothes and certain items. All unidentified clothes will be placed on a table in the living area for 1 week, any unidentified leftover clothes will be discarded in 1 week. Please check residentís closet routinely for clothes that no longer fits. Please removed these items and let the nurse or Karen, SSD know of any clothes being removed from closet. We need the closets to be clutter free. When families wash residentís laundry, the facility will do the laundry if: 1. Causes an order 2. Resident run out of clothes 3. Build up exceeds laundry basket. If you bring clothes on the weekend or holidays please place them in a bag with their name and room number on it and give it to the nurse. The clothes will be labeled and handed out on Monday by Mrs. Cleotha Lee, Laundry Supervisor. This includes blankets, shoes, tvís etc. Any questions please feel free to contact Mrs. Cleotha Lee, Laundry Supervisor at 337-233-7115.

Please notified facility if your email address or home address changes in order to continue receiving the monthly newsletter and calendar. If you have provided us with an email or address and are not receiving the newsletter please contact us to resolve this issue. reviewed every 3 months in a meeting

called "Staffing". In this meeting we

discuss the resident's needs, plan of

care, changes that they may be exp

eriencing, etc. We encourage family

members to attend staffing in order to

review their plan completely with all

possible input. If you have any
